Awards and Achievements

1st Place Post Secondary Narrative for “The 4 O’clock Date” from BC Student Film Festival 2003 (also won outstanding actor, and outstanding cinematography).

“Best Use of Inspiration Package” at Reelfast’s 48-Hour Film Festival 2004. Also in the top 10 out of 76 films.

1st Place for “Le Rat Prisonier”, a French poem, in a provincial contest (1998).

Best VFS short documentary for “Freestylers” (February 28th 2003).

“The 4 O’clock Date” was screened at Hollywood International Student Film Festival 2003.

“Freestylers” was screened at Victoria Independent Film Festival 2004.

Poem, "The Love Guild", published in a book, "Bench Press One".

On the Dean’s list at Okanagan College in 2006.

Special Interests

Movies: All genres from the 1920’s onward in many languages. I own over 1,000 DVDs.

Photography: Mostly landscapes and animals with the Canon 7D DSLR and various lenses.

Games: Adventure, Casual, and Social videogames, Cards, Scrabble, Othello, Mastermind.

Music: Anything with an interesting use of instruments creating a unique sound (like Pink Floyd or classical music).

Nature: Camping, hiking, casual sports, canoeing, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding.
